O Lord Jesus,
whose apostles came and saw you in truth, and as they came were seen by you in truth:
Liberate us from the guile which leads us to doubt their sight,
and free us from deceit so that we may be witnesses of you,
who lives and reigns with the Father and the Holy Spirit, one God, world without end.
