Steve Roels is a conservation biologist and restoration ecologist living in Lowell, Michigan. He holds a PhD in Environmental Science and Policy from Michigan State University.Â His scientific work has been published in journals includingÂ Restoration EcologyÂ andÂ Avian Conservation and Ecology. Other writings have been featured inÂ God and NatureÂ magazine and the journalÂ Science.Â He and his wife attend First Congregational Church of Lowell, an open and affirming Christian community.
